    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I enjoyed the insight to a very high degree even though i was at argos for like a week i enjoyed especially because of the workers who were working and it was filled with a positive environment which is probably why i enjoyed tot he extent that i enjoyed it in.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • i felt valued during my whole time there as they never took me as a unwanted person they all tried to get me involved somehow and the almost want you to make mistakes so you can learn from those mistakes and possibly not try and do ever again so yeah.

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • during the insight i was given massive support throughout and this probably helped me to be more confident in university life. However here and then i wouldn't receive the maximum support which was one of the bigger issues but most of the time i got support. which was ok by me.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The structure of the insight was perfect the had a day to day plan for me to do they had me interact with customers helping them out also the gave my the good things that i did and they also gave me the bad things that they gave which i expected.

    3/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The general atmosphere was filled with happiness which was of expected all of the workers worked around with a massive smile on the face which is normally difficult to find in a normal working environment so i found this aspect really unique as the other companies didnt have a better atmosphere than at argos

    3/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company picked me out through my specific aspects of skill as i had some good an then i had some bad which they saw in me but they invested in me because they thought that they could nurture me and that i could become better and they can harness my skill and make me a better worker

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The full time role showed me how i had to manage my study life my sleep life and my sleep as that was a key aspect i was missing was organisation. I always wanted to have something like this andthis was the time and i used every single minute wisely

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • the culture of the compoany was the exact same as the other companies they had a very easy understandable culture i couldnt do anything against there culture or that will show a sign of disrespect, so i kept my cool and worked just like the other employers working there at argos.

    3/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • my future career path as a accountant really helped me as i continue to pursue maths and continue to do so so as the work experience provide me of an insight on how the work life is and how i need to keep it balanced and also need to keep it organised

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • i was really paid i didnt really ask for it however they ensured to give me money since i had done a good work experience so then i accepted the money, which i thought was very generous as i only came in for an experience like other people but as i did so well they paid me more.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • yes, there were many opportunities to meet employers working at different areas of the companies and i analysed how the work load differs in some parts of the company and how the pay is lower in the area with a low work load, so the higher the work load the better the pay

    4/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • there wasnt many social events or networking opportunities as it wasnt a main stream cimpany it was king of on the side of argosbranches so i didnt get to interact with the social events and networks. so i had to do this and also many people from ours went but as i was here for an experience i didnt go.

    2/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • no, besides the work life i didn't find out about activities the workers went on most of them said that they had gone karate swimming and gym on. there spare however other than those activities there wasn't anything to big so not normally did some of them want to reveal there activities.

    2/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • definitely i would recommend this to a friend asking about work life and how it could be managed and how it should be managed on a day to day basis, this is the main hard aspect of this insight is that about organising so i will refer it to a friend explaining the pros and also the cons
