    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The overall structure of the insight week at PwC was very good. There was a good variety of desk work, team building activities and information sessions. We were provided with a detailed timetable for the insight, which was very beneficial and during the activities sessions, we were provided with plenty of time for breaks, so it didn’t feel too full-on.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Despite the short amount of time I spent at PwC (5 days in total), I felt that the firm invested a great deal into our personal development. The graduate recruitment team organised a number of information sessions and workshops aimed at improving our employability skills. These sessions were great for personal development.

  • During our time at PwC, we had plenty of opportunities to speak with employees at the firm. This provided the opportunity to ask about their roles and what it is like to work for the firm full time. Spending time working on a specific desk allowed us to experience this first hand also.

However, this could not be further from the reality. There was a great culture at PwC and employees embodied the values of the firm, making it a great environment to be in.
