BP Discovery Day Review

I very much enjoyed the insight day at BP - I learned a lot about the firm as well as the culture of the company! It was fun ot explore the workplace and look at the different divisions within BP. I would definitely recommend this experience to other people !

I felt very valued - The staff at the BP discovery day were extremely attentive and made sure that there were no problems throughout the day. This ensured the smooth running of the event. They were able to answer any questions I had regarding the workplace and general culture of BP.

I received a great deal of information about the workplace, especially information regarding the application process for their summer internship and graduate scheme. There was a Q & A session with the graduates which was very informative and gave everyone a chance to ask any questions about the programmes on offer.

Having attended this event for mixed business, I am now aware of the possible internship opportunities available during the summer at BP as well as the graduate programme. This event provided me with useful advice for the a successful application also, which will be useful in the future when applying for jobs.

I think that the event was very well structured. There was a detailed timetable which was kept to and regular breaks throughout to ensure that we weren't too exhausted after each activity. All the activities were relevant and useful. I have no complaints about the structure of the programme!

The general atmosphere was great - it was fun to meet like minded people with similar interests and discuss and share ideas. I would definitely recommend this event to anyone interested in applying for a summer internship at BP. It was a very relaxed environment and there were definitely no negative vibes.

I believe that the firm invested a great deal amount in me. the staff who organised the event were very attentive throughout the day and ensured every one was well looked after and entertained. they answered any queries with ease and I had no problem. the firm was overall very welcoming.

BP reimbursed me fully for my travel - they provided a great deal amount of information regarding the travel process to and from the venue. this included the different travel methods to and from the venue and the easiest methods to reach the destination. I found that it was easy to navigate myself.

Yes - there were many such opportunities throughout the day ! For example, the networking lunch - the graduates and other full time workers at BP were available during lunch to answer any questions about work life at the company as well as their previous background experiences and education .

The networking and social events were absolutely great. I have no complaints about the strucutre of the event at all ! Perhaps there could have been even more time to network with the other employees at the company, and perhaps there could have been more employees from different divisions within BP.

Yes - I would definitely recommend this event to a friend. I would recommend this insight day to anyone (from any degree discipline ) who is interested in working at a large global firm such as BP but is undecided on what exactly they want to do in the future.
