About You
I enjoyed it to a great extent, the bank really put alot of emphasis on us and really put us into a position that allow us to learn alot. The people were also very nice, so I really liked it
Greatly valued, everyone treated us just like how they would treat normal employees. Great schedule, great planning ahead and just helped us alot throughout the process
For the work shadowing and the presentations, I think that is where we got most of our guidance and support. They really taught us a lot about each division during those times.
To a great extent. Learned alot of new interview skills and also alot of skills for the position that I applied for. The important skills that is needed and more importantly just knowledge about that area that you will most likely not be able to learn about it in school.
The Company
I think it was really well structured, but the lunch times maybe could be improved with longer lunch times. But because of how much we get exposed to I think that lunch is just a compromise and I definitely feel like it was worth it.
It was pretty nerve racking at the beginning but as the insight went on, i felt more comfortable with the atmosphere and also more relaxed.
The bank invested alot into us. Really put us in the best position to succeed and learn as much as we can during this short period of time.
Great extent, through this insight I was able to learn a lot about internal auditing and more so just all of the infrastructure departments. How compliance operates and how AFC or risk or finance operates.
I think the insight helped me greatly. Having a first-hand experience of how working in the company actually feels like. The people as well as just how people go about with their daily activities.
Very Valuable. Really made me think about which career path I want to go into and also help me find an area of interest where i want to go into like Group Audit.
Everything Else
Short week, so reimbursement doesn't really matter. The things you learn from this experience definitely worth more than the reimbursement.
Yea, there were alot of networking opportunity. Ranging from actual networking events, but also having one on one time when work shadowing employees in different departments.
I think they were alright. There were quite of alot of people from differents areas. CIB, technology and infrastructure, so i feel like maybe there could be some separation so there are better chances of socialing and networking with the people in your division.
Yea, birthday parties, sports, assessments, alot of different varieties of activities that employees can get involved outside of work.
Definetly because it is such a great experience to learn more about banking process regardless of whether or not you will get an offer to work for them at the end.
