    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was a good time to be interning while there was so much turmoil in the markets as there was a lot to see and learn.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • The people on the desks I rotated on were not particularly the friendliest people. Maybe this was partly due to the stressful time in the market. However, there were some really nice and helpful people I ran into on the floor from different teams.

    • Again, this would have probably been better had it not been for the market conditions.

    • I was assigned a couple of projects which kept me busy when there were no shorter tasks to do.

    • Learnt a fair bit. But there were a lot of times when people simply did not have the time to sit down and talk to you, which was a shame.

    • Amazing group of interns. Made some goof friends over the summer.
