  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My confidence has grown a lot which of course will help me in life. Also my knowledge of accounting and how to go about audits has significantly grown which I'm sure will be useful whatever profession I choose to go into after completing my degree.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office environment was generally quite relaxed. As most people are out at clients most of the time due to the nature of the work, it can be quite quiet. There are loads of social events organised too!

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • As there are around 40 gap students around the country, we all attended the same training course prior to starting where we received some background knowledge and our laptops. Upon arriving in the office on our first day we were told who to ask for and taken on a tour.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Obviously, the company invests more in graduates as they complete their ACA training but we were given a laptop and all expenses paid as well as a lunch allowance everyday!
