  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I found it really interesting and informative- the mixture of lectures, group project work and networking/ socialising sessions was really great as we got to experience a wide range of business areas and technology solutions across the financial services industry. I would recommend this insight to anyone wanting to get more insight into tech and finance.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Everyone at Barclays was really friendly and there was a clear inclusive environment. Although there is a hierarchy, people on different positions and at different levels in the bank all interact and there is a supportive and relaxed vibe in this company. We were treated with the respect of graduates.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • Every managing director and employee we met at Barclays was willing to give us advice on the application process and we got amazing support and guidance on CV and interview tips. HR were very informative and friendly and I really enjoyed interacting with eveyone and learning more about the firm.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The insight was very well structured with an introduction to Barclays on the first day to set the scene and a group presentation and interview on the last day to finish off the week. The mixture between lectures and group work was clever as it gave us an opportunity to alternative between listening and interacting.
