    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I worked for motionglobal, an australian e-commerce company. However, Go Abroad were awful. They ruined my whole trip in China and made my trip a living nightmare. This company is a scam, do not go with them.

  • I didn't feel valued by the staff at all. They just wanted my money and thats all.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I wasn't given any guidance by GA. If anything they were actively trying to make my life worse. They promised me a place at Tenneco but that is just a front, and told me about it a month before my departure. After, they messed up my accomdation so I had to do homestay. The place was really dirty, no toilet roll, just newspaper. The room was so dusty that I found it really hard to breathe. I had to go to work and after view accomodation at night, it was really stressful and they pressured me into choosing a place in rural Shanghai by saying that if I dont choose one I have to do homestay.
