The Role
I personally enjoy my placement loads it's helped me meet new friends and get my foot on the careers ladder, it has also helped me develop as a person, which has given me so many new skills that I would otherwise never have had. It was a very warm atmosphere.
I felt valued by my colleagues a lot, the were really inclusive of me and I really appreciated how patient they were with me when I first started and when I was learning the basic skills I needed for the job, they also helped me individually when they had the time, it was a really inclusive atmosphere.
My supervisor was really supportive and encouraging he showed me how to do the basics and I am really grateful of how committed he was to helping me gain new skills and grow into the person that I am now, I really enjoyed being helped by him because he let me take it at my own pace.
I was in perfect balance because my supervisor never overworked me, he let me help out other employees on their projects and tasks, this allowed me to see what it would be like if I was working full time there and the types of projects and tasks that I might be given.
I was given quite a lot of responsibly and this helped me feel life I was working there and it simulated the pressure the I would be under daily, I found this manageable and it really helped me with my time management of different projects and tasks which in turn progressed me to harder tasks.
I feel like the skills I learnt will hopefully carry through for the rest of my life and that they will help me make future job decisions and allow me to take his that I would not have the skills for if is did not take this placement I think that these skills were invaluable.
The Company
The fun never stopped everyone was intimate with each other and we all had fun working together and solving problems and coming to solutions together, in this aspect it really was a massive team building exercise and we all valued it highly, I think that the environment definitely defined me as a person.
The overall work placement was setup very well as placements in particular were very well resource managed which definitely helped me as the resources were there for me to experiment with which allowed me to choose all types of assignments offered to me, there was never a lack of staff or resources.
The company invested lots of time in me they could see the progression over the six years I worked for them I feel very lucky for the many hours they invested in me, I owe six years of hard work and skill gaining to them, I am very grateful for what they have done.

The have referred me a position if I would like to take it and they said that they would welcome me back if I ever wanted to return, I am not currently sure what I would like to do so I have not yet taken the offered place although I will probably eventually take the offered place.
The Culture
There was a very tight bond between interns and placements we all got along together and i think that we all made a really tight bond together, it was really nice to have someone to talk to who was in the same position as you it made it a lot more enjoyable.
Quite cheap I was already living there so all I had to pay for was transport.
Quite lively a few clubs but it was never absolutely packed.
Quite a few opportunities to get involved in other activities.
