    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Enjoyed very much as I think it will be very helpful for my future career. All the things I’ve learned were vital for my professional development and I believe I left it carrying as much information as I possibly could, without any regrets and being very thankful for every single lesson, tip and overrall experience.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Working with a lot of experienced colleagues made me get all sorts of feedback I never thought I’d receive. I am very grateful for every single comment, idea and feedback they’ve given to me as they were really important for my development and made me realise all my areas of improvement and what the next steps are for my professional career and even personal life.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • All sorts of valuable support I could possibly imagina and dream of. Everything was really well thought of and every single comment made it all worth it. The colleagues working next to me did their absolute best to make me feel secure and be able to work on my own if they were not there so I think it was and overall amazing team experience as I’ve learned a lot from people who are great at their jobs in this company.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I literally could not feel better in regards to that specific factor. Every single piece of advice and feedback not only helped me massively but also made me believe that I am actually in possession of enough potential to become a great professional in my area of study which I believe is most undergraduates dream. I am very confident that what I’ve learned during my time has been very helpful.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was absolutely superb - fantastic, to say the least. Everything was minusciously planned and everything ended up fitting perfectly so everyone had a good grasp of the content of the insight and got enoug advice to be able to move forward with their careers. I do not think I would expect anything like that from any company at all - which makes me believe I made the right decision in regards to this said insight.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • It was great - everyone met quickly and seemed to get along very well. Aside from the great amount of content and knowledge we have been given during this insight, I belive that the connections made were the thing that made it all even more worth the wait and my presence. I have met people from different areas and we have all gotten along well and will be keeping contact in the years to come - or at least I hope we will.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Fairly well, in my honest opinion. I think all the insights were thoroughly planned and offered a great variety of content and gave every single one of us a chance to learn how everything worked and also what the prospects for the future were - while also giving us a chance to get to know each other better and also get to meet people with a lot of experience in our field which turned out to be extremely helpful.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • It honestly could not have helped more. After the sessions, and after talking to a few of the friends I made during those insights, I have realised that the feedback given to us was extremely helpful in the sense of preparing us for a professional career after graduating from University. Not only I feel more comfortable with working within the field, I also feel like I’ve got a tiny bit of experience and will not have the hardest of times.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • We’ve learned a fair bit about the company but I believe the main focus they were trying to bring up was actually the field of media as a whole - not about the company in specific. I think that this is a great way of showing this to us, as this approach opens more doors for those who believe they should focus on a career in the same field but within other areas/companies, which is fair enough,

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It honestly sorted out my life plans - or at least I hope it did. I now have absolutely everything sort of planned and, considering that I am not one to plan a lot of things by myself at all, this gives a great insight as to how clear and helpful this experience turned out to be - at least to me and the few other colleagues I have spoken ton after the insights.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I was reimbursed expenses but the insight itself had to be paid for - which is completely find considering how life changing this experience turned out to be for me. I would have been happy to pay even more for it had I known that this experience would have made my thoughts a lot clearer and concise in regards to my future.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • As previously mentioned in the questions, the chances of networking were absolutely fantastic and it is easy to say they might have been the absolute highlight of this whole experience - meeting employees of the company not only helped me build a network but also made it easier to understand how a professional in the field works and what it takes to get a spot in the area.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Absolutely fantastic as previously mentioned in the last and other questions. I had a great chance to meet other people joining the insight not only from my current University (University of Leeds) but also from other places around the United Kingdom such as London, Manchester, Brighton and Sheffield - we are still in contact and are currently looking for different ways of helping each other professionaly.

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • I have not found many if I am honest but I do not think that was the main purpose of the insight which is absolutely fine by me. Preferring to focus on the internal side of things, most of the interactions and networking were based on the company and other colleagues participating on the insight which limitates it a bit but also focuses on where the company knows more.

    3/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • I could not recommend more - it is an absolute life changing experience. I do realise it probably will not work the same with everyone doing it so I believe it is important to give a nice read to the material found online and think to yourself if that is an experience you would like to join in - it costs money so going to it blindfolded is not the best of ideas. Please do have a look, though, cause it is a great chance if you are indeed interested.
