The Role
I really enjoyed my placement. It taught me many skills that will benefit me within the industry and showed me the importance of hard work and representing a company well.
I was supported by my colleagues at all times and given guidance on how to improve my work.
I was given an adequate amount of guidance from my supervisor and he was always reminding me that there's no shame in trying over and over to get something right
I was quite busy however as it was all creative, it was down to me what I did and when
I was given a lot of responsibility. Although I had guidance, I was left to my own devices to plan and produce whatever I saw fit for the company
I believe they will assist me greatly as I learned a lot about working as part of a team and producing high quality work
The Company
It was quiet but it was pleasant and calming, I knew that I had support if necessary
It was relatively organised
The company expected me to use my own knowledge and skills to get by as opposed to guiding or training me, however this worked well as I asked for help only when needed and learned how to do things by myself
I would work for them again
The Culture
There weren't very many colleagues and when there were, they were never in at the same time as we were all working on different projects
