The Role
I really enjoyed my internship - I was given the responsibility to flourish
Extremely valued, I have always felt welcome as soon as I came through the door. They made sure I was settled and has been a great environment to work in.
As I previously had no experience, I was given the support that I needed. Training is a massive part of this company too, and I felt that I have been nurtured.
To start with I wasn't extremely busy but then as I demonstrated my capabilities I became much busier. This was great and I could always say no to work if my workload became too much.
Similarly, to start with not a huge amount purely because of my lack of experience but when I began to prove myself I was given a great deal of responsibility.
I will use my skills for the rest of my life, it had been a great learning experience and I fitted in extremely well in line with the company's values.
The Company
The general atmosphere is that if you do your work and you do it well, you can have as much fun as you like. It's brilliant, it makes me want to work hard, not because I have to but because I want to.
Brilliantly, they treat you as if you are a full-time employee and get you stuck in. They make sure you have enough work to do too.
Personal training is a massive part of the company, they invest heavily in training sessions every week which you are encouraged to attend. Most of which are extremely helpful.
Flexi Time
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Extremely appealing, so much so I am now working here because of my successful internship.
The Culture
The social scene for the whole company is great, you're not made to feel like an intern, just another member of staff
Expensive, but London is expensive anywhere. Covent Garden is no different but it's an extremely fun place to work.
Nightlife in and around Covent Garden is also decent - I'm looking forward to discovering more and more bars and clubs around.
You can get yourself involved if you want, but personally I haven't.
