About You
The insight into how Squire Patton-Boggs operates as a leading Law firm was invaluable and very interesting. They attempt to integrate you into as many departments and network as much as possible, despite the limited time within the one week.
Extremely valued. From current trainees, all the way to partners, the staff at Squire Patton-Boggs treat you with respect and trust you with tasks and thus, a great sense of importance is felt.
Loads! Everybody is prepared to take the time out of their busy schedules and speak to you about what they bring to the firm and what their daily tasks entail. The Vacation Scheme was very scheduled and allowed for us to meet as many people as possible, who were all able to give advice and support.
The skills I recieved were particularly focused on improving analytical skills which will prove very important to my English Literature and Politics Degree.
The Company
Very structured. All the Vac Schemers were provided with a weekly schedule at the beginning of the week and therefore, insight was well regimented and organised.
The atmosphere was really interesting. Christmas is clearly an extremely busy time for commercial law and therefore there was a lot of work to do in the office. On the reverse side, with it being December, there was a great chance to see the social side of the commercial lawyers. Everybody was in high spirits.
Lots of personal investment. Including, individual meetings, tasks to complete etc..
It was very clear to see what a full time role would look like, just from working here for the week.
Very much so.
Very helpful
Everything Else
Yes, it was a very generous amount.
Loads of opportunities
As I mentioned, it was Christmas and therefore the social event opportunities were very wide.
To an extent.
Yes.
