    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I greatly enjoyed the Open Day. It was a very valuable event that taught me a great deal about the firm. It's hard to truly get a feel of the company culture from websites or brochures until you see the company for itself. I was very pleased by the culture I observed at Taylor Wessing. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the building itself was absolutely beautiful.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • We received a great deal of support during the Open Day. The graduate recruitment team were always keen to answer our questions and were always around if we had any issues. Not only did the graduate recruitment team answer out questions, but a managing partner as well as many of the firm's trainees were around to ask questions to as well

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The information I received from this Open Day has helped me immensely towards my training contract application with Taylor Wessing. This Open Day gave me unique insight into the firm, which I was able to incorporate into my application. Futhermore, the skills I developed has allowed me to successfully complete other training contract applications because the graduate recruitment team gave us tips and guidance on how to write a good application

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The Open Day was structured very well. Each event went smoothly and flowed nicely from event to event. Furthermore, each event was different, so there was no repetition of information. We had a presentation from one of the managing partners at Taylor Wessing, a presentation from the graduate recruitment team and were also invited to participate in a business game during the afternoon. This kept the attendees interested and well informed because each event was new and interesting

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The general atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The managing partner who gave the morning's speech was interesting and engaging. The graduate recruitment team who organized the event were informative and friendly. The trainees who joined us for lunch were all smiles and were eager to tell us more about their time and experiences at Taylor Wessing

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company invested a great deal into us during this day. They offered us a presentation from one of their managing partners, in the morning. This was especially informative to get a perspective from one of the leaders in the firm. However, his role makes him a very busy man and it was very kind of him to take time out of his busy schedule to talk to us

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The Open Day helped me understand to a significant degree what it would be like to have a full time role with the firm. We were able to talk to trainees over lunch as well as drinks after the day was over. They gave us a true and unique perspective of what it was like starting off at the firm. We also heard a presentation from one of the managing partners, which allowed us to understand what working at the firm in the long term would look like

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The Open Day was greatly informative for teaching me about the firm's company culture. It was clear from the start that Taylor Wessing fosters a friendly and open environment. Everyone was extremely pleasant- from the receptionist to the graduate recruitment team to the trainees- and it was wonderful seeing how much they enjoy working at the firm. This Open Day showed me far more than any website or brochure ever could

  • The content of the day was extremely helpful in helping me decide my future career path. It solidified my desire to apply to Taylor Wessing for a vacation scheme in the future. I was unsure which firms I wanted to apply to for training contracts and vacation schemes, but after having visiting Taylor Wessing on their Open Day, I cannot imagine a more amazing firm to work for
