About You
I enjoyed it alot. Was something different. Was mix of a gap working programme. I feel I learnt heaps!
The team atmosphere and environment generally was good throughout the period.
A mix of personalities and characters. Personally I felt well supported and got the feel of the structure of the project early on.
I believe my skills developed throughout the project and i was able to use many of my soft skills throughout the experience.
The Company
There was a general structure we received at the orientation meeting on the first day. This stayed similar over the month period I was there. We had a little flexibility also during some days.
Top! There was a good vibe in the team!
There was as much support as most required. This worked though in terms of how each member was involved though.
Quite a bit. We got to see a little behind the scenes and heard background stories and history of staff members and how they got to work the educational/travel industry.
The company culture was fairly laid back although it was also about focussing finely on some details and although was fairly relaxed we also were there to do a job.
I am still not entirely sure what I want to end up doing but the experience did give me a great insight into many differing areas
Everything Else
yes- we had what they called project related activities that took place each week. We were encouraged to network frequently when these took place.
Plenty and usually we had quite a bit of free time also we could allocate for this.
yes at the orientation meeting
yes I would recommend if you want to learn a language be involved in a working team and to have an experience that is not the usual norm.
