The Role
I had a really good experience
I felt the work I undertook was appreciated by my team
My manager was very supportive and we had regular catch up meetings
It varied but I was never without something to get on with
I was given as much responsibility as any other full time employee
My internship was not related to my degree but has given me great skills to make me more employable
The Company
I enjoyed being in the office with my team
You have regular check ins but you cannot have a strict plan of the work you will do for the year as it depends on the business' needs throughout the year
There was always opportunities for training
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I loved working at The Body Shop, the workplace culture was great and I can't imagine many other companies matching up so I would love to have a career at The Body Shop
The Culture
The interns often organised days/nights out together and there was always in-office social events for the whole offie or after work drinks with the team
It is London so it is quite expensive
Close to Clapham which has good nightlife and easy to get to central London
You are encouraged to volunteer
