The Role
Highly enjoyable experience, all the staff in the office were extremely approachable and kind.
At Ceres Energy a great balance of guidance and independent work made me feel like I was contributing in a positive way to the company.
There was always somebody who was willing to answer questions and regular interaction ensured we were on the right track.
The flow of work was busy yet manageable as we were able to plan in advance how to manage our time.
As the placement progressed the level of responsibility grew and I left feeling more confident in my ability to accept responsibility.
I commenced this placement in the summer before my final year of summer. I truly feel that this placement helped my focus and resillance and greatly helped me during my final year of study.
The Company
Everybody was very approachable and close. I quickly felt included amongst the other people in the office.
We were given an outline of what our internship would entail at the start. This allowed us to manage our time and produce work to a higher quality.
This internship improved my abilities on Microsoft Excel. I also gained skills in research which was an immense help during my final year of study.

The Culture
I went to social events in both organised and unorganised groups with other colleagues.
Newcastle is a beautiful and affordable place to live whilst also being lively and fun, simply amazing.
The nightlife in Newcastle is cheap and fun, I am yet to find a better night out.
