    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight was incredible. I had so many opportunities to visit PwC's clients and the director I was shadowing really made sure I attended everything.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt like I really did help out the director of my team. I took notes, produced documents and made notes of things I felt would help. This helped my team and they made sure I was kept in the loop.

    3/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The recruitment officers are great. Mine is particular felt just an email away if I needed to ask a question. Couldn't thank her more.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I definitely felt that this opportunity opened up more doors for me in terms of work experience. I am very proud to have been offered this place and I am glad I worked so hard for it.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The insight had a meeting with the other members of my group and HR on the first day and on the last day. The rest of the week was dictated by the director I was shadowing. It was very hectic but I learned a lot.

    3/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The people are friendly and I made friends. I did feel my director's schedule was very hectic and at first, threw me out of my comfort zone. But I had people I could go to when I was lost and lots of opportunities to ask for help. I enjoyed it and was pleased with the office atmosphere when I was working independently at the desk. It was very professional yet felt relaxed once you have settled in.

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The fact that this insight week led onto an interview for a graduate scheme makes me feel very invested in.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The insight did exactly this. You have the chance to talk to other members of staff, see what they do, what their hours are like, what the workload is like etc.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Working at PwC is quite different to working in an investment bank. You will understand much more about departments and the different lines of service and hierarchy after doing a placement here.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • VERY VALUABLE! I decided that I would love to work at PwC in the future.

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Well

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Yes, plenty, but you need to make the effort yourself sometimes. People aren't going to approach you much. You need to do the approaching. Once you've done that, everyone is great.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Good

    3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Just need to chat with people around. HR did talk to us about this in a lot of depth.

    4/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Most definitely

    5/5
