The Role
The internship gave me a great insight into the world of financial services/banking, and it enabled me to meet many interesting people as well.
My colleagues were always there for me if I had any questions, and this helped me perform well in my role.
Management always made time for me, even though their schedules were hectic. I believe their feedback played a very important role in my professional development.
I was just the right amount of busy on a daily basis. As most of my deadlines were at the end of the internship, I was able to manage my workload in an effective way.
I was given my own project, as well as encouraged to have meetings with senior management, which enabled me to have full responsibility during my internship.
This internship helped me better understand the world of financial services, and helped me see the bigger picture for the modules that I am studying.
The Company
The office atmosphere was quite relaxed, but still very professional.
I was surprised to see how well organised my internship was - this definitely improved my experience at the company.
We had many talks or workshops we could attend, as well as training modules on different topics.
Future employment prospects within the organisation are very appealing.
The Culture
Yes, we would all get together during the weekends to travel or just hang out.
Cost of living and socialising was reasonable.
There was something for everyone's taste.
Yes, there were plenty of volunteering activities available.
