  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Enjoyable experience, huge learning curve and lots of work to do once you settle in.

    • Felt valued by my colleagues, especially given the gap in knowledge.

    • Good amount of support and guidance was given. Although some of this didn't align with the feedback I received at the end.

    • First week or so was quiet but after that very busy for the remainder of the internship. Happened to be a busy summer in the team I was in.

    • Responsibility naturally grew as time went on.

    • Definitely will help in the future.

    • Collegiate, friendly atmosphere.

    • Internship was well structured, starting with a week of training and then a few socials / feedback meetings.

    • One week training at the start with all the other interns, followed by on the job training from the team.

    • Appealing, chance to convert the internship into a full time position. I believe conversion rates are lower than other banks.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes, particularly in the first week during training. Interns met up on Fridays when possible.

    • Central London so prices are high as you can imagine.

    • Central London so vibrant nightlife.

    • The internship involves a charity competition which interns work on in groups.
