  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • DHL offered a fantastic variety of opportunities within the year I spent with them. This meant that I had exposure to many different situations which kept things interesting, meaning I really enjoyed my time with them.

  • I felt like I was a valuable member of each of the teams I was a part of. I was given regular constructive feedback which helped me to develop both personally and professionally.

  • I was given regular constructive feedback which helped me to develop both personally and professionally.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was always busy when I was working in the warehouse and carrying out work on projects. Both of these roles gave me exposure to new situations which required me to learn new skills meaning I was always busy!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was responsible for running different departments in the warehouse, managing up to 50 colleagues at any time.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This placement year was invaluable. I developed so much more confidence and got to put into practice the theory taught at university.

  • Positive and hardworking environment within the warehouse.

  • It was a well structured programme with support whenever I needed it.

  • Yes - all placement students kept in contact via social media and organised meet ups occasionally.

  • £80 per week for rent.

  • Good
