The Role
I enjoyed every aspect of the internship: people, culture, environment, tasks.
People valued me and my ideas and always were ready to listen to you during meetings and day-to-day activities.
All people were ready to help, explain difficult concepts and just go for a coffee talk. Mentorship is a crucial point in Goldman Sachs
Quite busy but in line with other investment banks.
The field of responsibilities was very broad: from researches to model building
Soft skills contributed a lot to my studies in terms of my efficiency and stamina
The Company
It depends on the division but a general atmosphere was very welcoming, warm but exciting! You see smart people collaborating together all day long and reaching incredible results!
Everything was set up perfectly. There were plenty of people ready to give support, advice and tips around us during the internship. HR workers also were very pleasant and ready to lend a helping hand. Each intern was assigned to a mentor who could guide us professionally and personally outside the key division.
Comprehensive one week of training where you could find everything you need if you go to M&A in terms of technical education. However, some interns didn't get as much training as they could as it was mainly driven by M&A side.

Working from home
Amazing! The company introduced a mobility programme which aims at refreshing people's minds after the analyst class. I believe this is a great step ahead to reduce a turnover.
The Culture
The cost of living is pretty expensive as the area is central. There were plenty of cafes, bars, bank offices, everything you need.
The area is central so you could find a lot of bars, clubs to go out at night if you wanted. For all tastes
Not very much as work takes a lot of time. However, we managed to participate in a lot of networking events organised by the company, also went out for a Community Day.
