The Role
I had a really good time during the placement, I met some really inspiring people and I found everyone was keen to help me learn and there were many really good oppurtunities during the ten weeks.
I felt so close to them and was very sad to leave my team at the end of the ten weeks.
My manager was consistently supportive and wanted me to learn and make the most of every oppurtunity offered during the time there. He would ask whether I had issues and what provide continual feedback as well as asking for any feedback on how they could help interns in the future.
I was very busy, each day was action packed with day to day work, talks, meetings and catch-ups with different people from across the firm.
I was given alot of reponsibility by the end but was slowly eased into it as they learnt they could trust me with a greater workload etc.
As I study finance it was a massive help to me. As well as learning more about financial markets I have learnt presenattion skills, time management, networking skills which I think will be invaluable for my degree and for later life.
The Company
Really good, lots of fun activities, people would always bring in food they had baked, was really welcoming!
Everything was very well organised and it was always clear that people wanted you to succeed and hopefully be offered a graduate role.
There were constant workshops and speaker sessions, and they offered you the chance to meet with people from Analayst level to Partners and everyone was happy to give you some of their time.

Very appealing, i would love to join the firm, I met countless inspiring people who loved working there and I would love to join them and be a part of the culture. Although the work can be intense at tines that is the nature of the business, but I met so many fun and helpful people.
The Culture
Most of the interns were really fun and easy to talk to, there were organised social events that we attended, but also we would often arrange drinks etc between ourselves as we got on so well.
London is an expoensive place to live and stay and travel etc is expensive. I love the culture and lifestyle there though so I would say it is worth it personally.
Very good, so many events on all the time and in the summer there were lots of open rooftop bars nearby which were really good for seeing the city.
On the weekends there are so so many things to do in London, I definitely didnt do all of them!
