  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • I gained a better understanding of the company culture whilst at Nomura. Nomura has strong values and is very rooted in its japanese heritage, which makes it different to many other investment banks in the financial sector. • There were so many different opportunities to meet and network with Nomura employees and graduates. In this time, we found out about their career progression and they gave us good advice for succeeding in investment banking. There was also the opportunity to network during lunch etc. This was more informal and relaxed- I used this time to get a better understanding of what it was actually like to work at the bank.
