  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at DLA, I met a wide variety of people with different experiences and knowledge that allowed me to gain a greater understanding of the law, commercial awareness and personal branding.

    • Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and approachable in all the departments as well as the other vacation scheme students.

    • The support I received was very in depth and helpful, no question was too small or silly and everyone was happy to help!

    • I learned many skills in a variety of areas both law and non-law related, which has allowed me to progress to my next level of study with the best possible foundations.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured, the first week in London was extremely well organised by the recruitment team, and the following weeks in our regional offices were just as well organised.

    • The atmosphere was always warm and welcoming, everyone says hello to one another and I met some lovely people.

    • We had talks and insight meetings from clients, pro bono teams, recruitment and personal branding experts as well as the extremely valuable help and guidance from our trainee buddies

    • I took part in a huge variety of ongoing work which allowed me to get a great insight of day to day life, I also got to attend client and team meetings
