  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable and challenging internship.

  • Colleagues were always willing to help and give advice, as well give praise on comments on most work handed in.

  • Daily business varied although this is the nature of the business.

  • As the internship progressed I took on more responsibility.

  • Training was thorough but will not assist me in my degree back at university.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was generally serious but you were always able to have a laugh with colleagues sat near you when the time was appropiate.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very organised. I felt as if I was integrated into the team from a few weeks in and the programme was structured well overall.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They invested a week of training in us which was very handy for learning the basics of banking before we went on the desk.

  • The firm themselves has a great business model which is set up for the future and should do well given the state of current affairs at the moment.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We often saw each other on a Friday after work for those that finished at a decent time.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived slightly further out so travel costs were a little higher, but there were free taxis home which helped massively.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife was fairly decent with a few clubs nearby

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Weekends was the best time but during the week time was limited.
