  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I greatly enjoyed my internship, it confirmed to me that this was the career I wanted after graduating.

  • All colleagues were very welcoming and were happy to answer any questions I had.

  • Both my mentor and supervisor often took time out of their days to guide me through my work.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was busy enough to fill my day but there was not pressure to stay late, it was expected that I would take a little longer to complete tasks as I was learning.

  • I was given real work for clients throughout my placement.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I developed will help me enormously when I return to the company after graduating.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office was very relaxed. It was open plan and no one had their own separate office, which created a very welcoming atmosphere.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship was very well organised. All UK interns went to a 2 day induction. We then returned to our offices where we did work but also has 2 projects we worked on throughout the 8 weeks.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company invested a lot of time in training the interns, we had a large pack to reference and also a mentor we could go to with any questions.

  • At the end of the internship they offered me a graduate job.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, I went to the company football tournament and there were various social events throughout the 8 weeks. On a friday we would often go out for lunch together,

  • Glasgow is a very cheap city to live in.

  • Glasgow has very good nightlife.

  • Yes, there was weekly badminton, a table tennis night and a mario kart night.
