  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Long days but they go quickly thanks to the pace and enjoyment of work.

  • A lot of independent work but overall a good team feel.

  • Management were happy to answer any questions if I had them and helped if I was struggling.

  • Pace of work varied day to day so there were slow days but generally I was very busy.

  • I was given work to complete independently after about 3/4 weeks of shadowing others.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Degree studies generally weren't needed on the placement but work completed on site really helps with the understanding of what I have learnt at university and how it is applied to a project. The training received from others was very clear and helpful for when I needed to work independently. It will be very helpful for future placements/work.

  • Large office but everyone was friendly.

  • There was always work to do.

  • Two training days meeting with other students with a social at the end of both.

  • Expensive being next to waterloo in London and I commuted into work from Guildford.
