    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I learnt so much and the experience made me realise that analytical science is the career path I would like to follow.

  • Everyone was very welcoming and the whole office bonded well.

  • Support and help were constantly provided when it was needed.

  • This varied with the amount of studies there was within a week.

  • I was allowed to perform all analysis alone but would of liked to have fully reported my results.

  • I have returned to university much more confident in a lab.

  • Everyone worked together well.

  • A lot of personal training of equipment was given throughout the year.

  • Yes, GSK enmploys plenty of industrial placement students.

  • It was close to London so was the most expensive place I have personally ever lived.

  • Ok for what I needed.
