The Role
I had a great time during my internship, the staff at PwC is really friendly, the culture is good and the work is interesting.
You are treated like an associate and because of this the work you do is meaningful.
Everyone is there to help and more than happy to spend their time with you.
Both projects I was on were close to deadlines, because of this I was quite busy. However the work life balance was good and I never stayed later than 6.
Within reason I was given a fair amount, every piece of work you do is submitted for review which is ideal for feedback and development opportunities.
This was a major factor for my enjoyment, we were given training in Excel, Power Point, Java and RPA which will be hugely beneficial in both my final year of Uni and future career
The Company
Atmosphere was great, and was a large reason for the good experience I had during my internship.
We were given talks and training sessions every Friday which was a nice way to end the week and structure the internship
At least 4 hours every week was dedicated to our training and development which I believed was invaluable.
I got a graduate job offer.
The Culture
We went out every Friday with some of the teams and attended organised social events such as the summer BBQ.
I live in the city where my internship was based but I expect it to be about £200 per week.
Good fun.
Yep I took part in a 24hour charity football match which was great.
