The Role
All the teams that I worked on were so welcoming which made the work I was completing a lot more enjoyable.
There was never a case where I felt undervalued or treated differently due to the fact that I was an intern, whether I was talking to a partner or associate, I always felt like I was valued.
The coaching I received from everyone I encountered was very useful and everyone was happy to help out.
Obviously there were times where work was busier than others but I was always able to ask / given extra tasks to complete when I had run out of things to do. Even though occasionally I felt busy I didn't feel as if I was being taken advantage of or over worked.
I was given similar tasks to that of a first or second year on the job, and with limited experience there wasn't really a chance to be given too much responsibility but with the tasks that I had to carry out I was left to be independent to complete them unless I required extra coaching which was always readily available.
There was so much that I will be able to take forward, whether that's interpersonal skills, time management or computer skills as well as also how to best complete tasks to the best that you can do.
The Company
Always a good atmosphere and people happy to talk to you, but not to the point that this acted as a distraction to work.
Very well organised, we were always updated on what we were doing or needed to organise / carry out ourselves
There was a lot of training carried out in the first week before we went out on the job for real. We spent the first three days in a hotel with all the other interns and then spent one day in our local office to receive further induction and then a day for IT training as well. There were also opportunities for further training later on in the internship.

The Culture
As I was often out at client sites there was limited chance to interact with some of the other interns but I feel like I have made some really good friends from the experience, whether that was during the Interns project, or within the teams that I have worked on.
I was lucky to live at home during the internship but as it was in London lunch costs etc were quite expensive.
