The Role
It surpassed my expectations and the staff allowed me to work to what I believe to be my full potential
I felt my work was not always the most difficult but I felt welcomed and appreciated by the teams I worked for.
Apart from when they were busy with client interactions they were always open to answering any new questions or queries related to my tasks or even just the company in general.
Most days I found myself with plenty to do and only very rarely at the end of the week found myself with nothing to do.
My work was reviewed and when changes were necessary I was given responsibility for sorting them.
My degree has now entered a more academic based research but the practical and real view that this work has given me will allow me a more rounded view to my work.
The Company
Everyone in the office was very welcoming and friendly and also engaged in talk about more than just work tasks.
Very organised and I knew where I needed to be everyday and what was expected of me.
They spent time to take me to London for a training placement. Also, managers and colleagues spent time to help me take on more advanced tasks above my level.

Very appealing I am very much attracted to further work for this company.
The Culture
Having already lived in a flat in Glasgow for university the costs of the city are pretty low in comparison to other cities in the UK
There are many different themed clubs and bars and so there is something for almost anyone. The bars are pretty cheap for a UK city and the city is filled with friendly people.
We had the opportunity to go to the races with the whole office as well as an office quiz on our last day. These experiences were really enjoyable and gave us the opportunity to learn more about how our colleagues are outside of their work.
