  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Everyone was welcoming and willing to chat/share their experiences and knowledge but often was not working at 100% capacity.

    • No-one was patronizing or belittling simply because I was an intern. In fact, everyone was happy to make time for me.

    • I had weekly touch points with my coach as well as intern manager, fortnightly meetings with my buddy and fortnightly meeting with student recruitment to ensure I was enjoying my experience.

    • Often had no formal project work to do, but there were many other opportunities to get involved with if you put yourself out there.

    • We received 4 days of induction developing our presentation, business writing and Excel skills. This will be transferable to future engagements.
