The Role
Fantastic Opportunity, very good company.
I felt I was part of the team.
Was given excellent support by my supervisor, was more of a mentor than a supervisor.
Always had a task on hand.
Not much responsibility, the research carried out depended on how dedicated I was to the project.
It will benefit me to make me a more complete engineer, I was not taught a module on heat transfer at university and now I am capable with dealing with engineering problems to do with heat transfer.
The Company
Friendly Atmosphere. Good work ethic, not too distracting.
Very Organised. Meeting were always on time, project tasks were well explained, equipment was always readily available if needed.
They invested a lot of time in personal training, they got us to do presentation training, poster training, public engagement training and finally present our project with a presentation and poster once we finalised.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Very, the work they do is very interesting.
The Culture
All interns made an effort to meet up with each other after work.
It wasn't too expensive, diamond organised places for where we could live for cheap rent and little commute time.
It was good. There were two near by towns that had good nightlife Reading and Oxford.
Yes, there was a football club and a Yoga club that you could get involved with.
