Overall, the work placement very much enjoyable and a great learning curve. It is a hard job with tough days and you work lots of hours but you get quality experience out of it, your colleagues are brilliant, a real sense of teamwork, you develop valuable transferable skills.

When you work in the branch you're a valued team member, working together towards a common goal. You all leave when all the work is done, no one is left behind in the branch.

You'll have regular training sessions at head office which is always a fun and enjoyable day. You'll be encouraged to form mentor partnerships and allowed to meet them during work time to discuss development or any issues you might have. You'll also have personal development meetings periodically with your manager as well as your usual performance reviews.

Like every job there are both peak and off-peak times when it can either be very quiet but you can always get on with admin jobs or its very peak and you're constantly tending to customers.

Even as a placement student you're given a lot more responsibility than you expect. The business is transparent, you can see the business account data when normally this is only available to higher up employees.

You'll gain a massive amount of transferable skills here which you can take back to university with you to assist you in your degree. People skills, telephone manner, confidence, time-management, work ethic, determination, teamwork and learn how to drive hundreds of cars and vans in the process!

Great sense of teamwork in the office, no one is left behind at the end of the day, you all leave once the work is done. You make some great friends with your colleagues which makes those long days tolerable!

There is massive potential for progression within the company, with a clear path up should you choose to stay with Enterprise after you graduate

There was periodic social events, either informal drinks with your branch, paid-for area nights out and more.
