    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I loved it. I woke up every day excited to go to work.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The management and training staff I felt very much valued by. My fellow employees in the branch, not so much as there is so much competition in the branches.

    2/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was always given support when I asked and guided on how to progress in my career. Some managers I sensed did not like the way I worked and so had preference of other employees which was annoying but I simply asked for help to those I knew would provide it.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Never a dull moment in Enterprise!

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was never running the day but I was left on my own and made aware of how to run things. At Enterprise, you are not merely an employee you are a Management Trainee

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I can apply everything I've learnt to any path I choose to take in life, but I hope my working career will continue with Enterprise.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It is tense and stressful at times but there is never a dull moment which makes the day go fast. I got on so well with most of my employees (bar one).

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • We had so much support and the internship was completely planned out. This is by far the best internship on the market.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • So much. I have been up to Cardiff 3 times all paid for and hosted by the company and to Bristol once. Money is not an issue when it is investing in their employees.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I will definitely be in contact with the Enterprise team for future career opportunities.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Paid for area night out and branch meals every month.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was able to live at home as Enterprise have locations all over the country.

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • It's home for me so great!

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes there are many opportunities but as I am new to the business I don't know many people so don't feel too welcome!
