  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed my insight at Savills and I feel like I've learnt a lot. I was given responsibilities from day one but was never left on my own, so having that guidance was fantastic during my first few weeks.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I've felt like a proper team member and have been invited to all of the office events. I've learnt a lot about my team whilst on placement. It has been a busy period here in the office and I feel very valued for the work I have done.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • A lot of support and guidance. Nothing was too much for the rest of the team and no question too stupid!

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It's been invaluable. I'd never done most of these things in practise during my degree so far so that's been really helpful. I've learnt how to be more concise in writing reports, how to format well structured arguments and have a sound understanding of the planning system.

    • It was very well structured. There were a few hiccups but everything was always promptly resolved.

    • I've really enjoyed being in the office and it was a very fun and friendly environment to work in.

    • A huge amount. My mentors sat with me and really helped me when I was struggling to understand some things.

    • A great deal. Everything has been focused towards a career within Savills which has been excellent.

    • A lot. The overview webinars were especially helpful.

    • Yes. But there isn't a huge scope for sporting activities in this office.
