  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • An exciting environment with a huge level of support and activities beyond regular duties!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was inexperienced, but as time went on and I developed new skills, I gradually became more confident in the work I was doing. This meant that I became more useful to the company and was completing some tasks a normal Analyst would be doing as part of their everyday role

  • An amazing support network with people always willing to help.

  • Most days I was busy, however there were some 'quiet days', however overall I was kept very busy.

  • Was given the opportunity to set up files that would be used by huge number of teams.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Everything I have learned at Marks and Spencer, will be kept with me and will be used in my degree studies!

  • People were friendly and relaxed and chatty! A nice atmosphere to work in.

  • Work was prepared for me in advance. I was set up with tasks immediately!

  • So much effort was put in to developing my skills. I loved my time there and would most certainly recommend it to anyone wanting an organisation where people will endeavour to develop and train you and improve your skills

  • I was the only intern in my department
