The Role
I enjoyed the internship because I liked the structured style, with organised intern events throughout. My manager provided support and guidance throughout the internship. It was helpful to receive feedback and have structured objectives which we set at the beginning. However, the type of tasks I was given weren't that varied.
I felt valued to some extent, It varied by tasks, on some of them I felt more valued than others. I appreciate the challenge of finding valuable work given the short-term nature of the internship though. The group project was particularly good in making me feel valued. The colleagues were nice and friendly
I was given full support and guidance by my manager. He organised weekly catch ups for me so I could bring up any issues and ask questions. He was available most days for support though he was pretty much my only point of contact.
I think I was less busy than the other interns, but I was happy with my workload. I was keen to keep my work day 9-5 to keep the work life balance.
Not too much responsibility. But I think it was the right amount given that I was only an intern
This is unrelated to my degree
The Company
my floor was pretty quiet actually. But the general atmosphere was social.
very well organised
they invested lots of time and effort in us with presentation skills training for example
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
I don't feel too well informed about this.
The Culture
yes, it was really nice and sociable
as it was central London the living and socialising costs were very high, and so was a barrier to me enjoying this fully.
It's great, Shoreditch is close by
yes, such as community volunteer days
