  • The experience itself was fantastic; the interns, the rotation scheme, and the work.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Most of the time. As valued as you can be as an intern!

    3/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Given support, but could have been better

    3/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Had a lot to do in comparison to other interns on trading desks.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Perfect amount.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Definitely life skills, in terms of interaction with people in a business environment and understanding now how to get a job! Not one bit for university, but why would it?

    1/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Was not on the trading floor, so not full on fun all the time, but it had its moments.

    4/5

  • HR did a very good job on this front; events throughout, and always kept us in the loop.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Nice one week induction.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Financial Bonus

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

  • East London!

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • London is London; some love it, som find it okay, some hate it... I tread somewhere in the middle. Shoreditch is a good night out every once in a while, not every week. And there's Jamie's of course...

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not shown to me beyond the intern events.
