  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A great experience to see how a large international bank works.

  • Everyone was very kind towards me and treated me very well.

  • Whenever I asked for help I got it.

  • Not busy enough. Several days could have had more tasks.

  • Very little responsibility but that is to be expected as you are an intern.

  • Certain soft skill will be useful but other will not be.

  • Colleagues were fun to be around and made the days enjoyable.

  • Pretty well organised but a few hiccups in terms of emails sent out.

  • Had lots of opportunities to develop in both online and in person training.

  • Very appealing firm but unsure if I will remain in the line of business that I did my internship in.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Personally did not get a lot of opportunities to socialise due to being in a workplace without other interns. However, offices with multiple interns regularly socialise together.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Was able to live at home so very cheap.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Based near Brighton which has good nightlife.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • So many opportunities. Constant emails being sent out about potential out of office activities and societies.
