The Role
The atmosphere is really friendly within the team, and my colleagues made me feel valued and useful.
The workload is huge so the manager are quite busy, however they do their best to give us time to provide us with support and feedback.
It was a real challenge to find the right balance between networking and working, because I had a lot of things to do on a daily basis and at the beginning struggled a little bit not to be overwhelmed.
Quite a lot of responsibility for an intern. I wish I had a little bit more at the end of the internship however 10 weeks was quite short to get to know everything and to be able to be totally independent in all my tasks.
I think it was more the contrary: my background helping me to achieve my goals. however this internship made me more adult and responsible.
The Company
Really friendly, Everybody is really nice, and polite, and happy to help.
Well. The frequency of the events was really good and the recruiter are always available to discuss and give you some guidance about your future career.
The firm values the interns and it's appreciated. They give a lot of support to any intern trying to involve itself and it's quite easy to get sponsorship from senior people as long as you come to them with an organised project.
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Good, if you're able to find a good balance between your personal and professional life.
The Culture
The interns communicate a lot and organise quite a lot of events so you really feel like you're part of the company.
Quite expensive, compared to my home country (France)
They have a lot of pubs, and the place is nice just to hang out and have a walk with your friends, however the weather is a little bit cold and rainy so there's no as many possibilities as in France to go out on evenings.
Yes, a really lot. And it is good because it givens everyone the possibility to chose the events they'll get involved in.
