    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed this internship- having the chance to interact with senior management, who were willing to share their career path and deliver tips to you on how best you can take advantage of the opportunity given, vast exposure to research and training which connects you better to the on-the-job experience, meeting people from all over the world with diverse backgrounds that you can learn a lot from and appreciate culture. The extra activities the bank is involved in such as sports, volunteering, charity fundraising, etc. exposed me to a lot.

  • This opportunity brought me out of my comfort zone and improved my skills on networking, organizational skills, technical knowledge (especially on traded products) and how the bank as a whole interacts with the world. These are skills which are much needed for a lifetime
