    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was extremely friendly and approachable. If you needed help, there was always someone on hand to help you resolve a problem. The overall atmosphere was very relaxed, there was certainly no expectation that you had to be staying at your desk until late in the evening. Social event organised for the team helped create a positive atmosphere.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well organised. The initial training week was a great introduction to the company and the skills we would need. In my division, the structure of the internship was very clear and we all knew exactly what was expected of us. Regular feedback sessions enabled us to all make good progress throughout the internship.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a large cohort of interns spread across many division and we regularly went out as a group after work. We got to know each other better through company-organised evening events and Lunch & Learns allowed us to spend time with other interns who weren't interning in the same division. Equally group intern projects encourage us to spend more time with people from other divisions.
