  • AstraZeneca was a really friendly environment, very accommodating for students including giving me plenty of time to do the required university work on my placement year

  • Felt like a real team member and had meaningful work to do

  • Well supervised, learnt lots of things I might not have picked up during a year at University

  • Sometimes work was a bit slow due to nature of the project I was working on

  • Everyone was friendly and there were lots of other placement students at the site

  • Macclesfield is cheap and cheerful

  • Not muc of a nightlife person but told it was a bit dull
