  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It is what I would like to do when I finish my degree and it met all my expectations.

  • I had lots of projects to do so felt very valued by my team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had support from my managers the whole way through my placement. I moved departments two thirds of the way through my placement which meant there was quite a bit of change.

  • I had projects to do, as well as being part of the product development teams I was working in.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given responsibility through project work and liaising with suppliers on samples coming in.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I haven't returned to Uni after my placement yet, but I have found the skills I learnt that year valuable in my personal life, as well as in other job roles.

  • Very friendly, positive and proactive.

  • It was well organised, but I feel there could have been more structure which I fed back to them before I left.
