    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • SAP is an extremely forward thinking and exciting company to work for. From the coffee corners with all sorts of treats to the late nights working every part of it, be it in different ways, is amazing.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • You are not seen or labled as an intern, there are more internship (Placement year) jobs you will have to do... but everyone has to start somewhere. You are seen as a full time employee, you will have your own role and responsibilities, if you are truly looking for a placement year to gain experience and grow as a person about to start a career then SAP is what you want to be applying for.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My team had a collective 60 year + experience so support was never far away, guidance was of course given but i was never micro-managed, if i make a mistake, with support, i need to sort it.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • On a 'daily' basis not bad but it is a quarterly run business therefore end of each quarter are ridiculously busy (depending on the role).

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given my own responsibilities and never micro managed.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Time management, work ethic and ability to compile complex information will most definatly assist in my final year of studies!
