    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Due to Accenture being one of the most interesting consulting firms in my opinion, I was very curious and had kind of high expectations. These have been fullly fulfilled. Of course, I cannot know about my opportunity cost but I could not really imagine any other case in which my time is better spent.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt really valued at Accenture. My team was friendly and always willing to help. Besides, I got to know that Accenture has a compeltely different approach to HR than most other (consulting) firms. That’s probably also why average employee satisfaction is higher. Furthermore, my expertise and effort were astonishingly really valued.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I received a lot of support and guidance during my internship. I had a contact person which was always happy to help in any regards, Even when I asked about topics unrelated to our field of action, I received thourough answers, explanations and insights. Of course, this always depends on the type of contact person which is assigned to you.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I developed extremely many different skills. While unviersity is giving you the general concepts, an internship is really providing the opportunity to be practical and actually make use of what you have learned at uni so far. I can only speak for myself but Accenture is doing a really good job at making you learn the right things.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • As a result of my previous answer, the structure of my experience was a really good one. I never felt bored or too stressed. It was just the right level of work load and I realised that I did not only have to deliver results but I was engouraged to network and allocate time for personal development.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • I cannot speak about how the atmosphere is in comparison to other internships, but it was definitely an enjoyable experience. You can tell that the current employees who spoke to us loved their job and cherished being there. The other interns all came from different universities and it was a great opportunity to exchange.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • In my opinion the company put in a lot of effort to give us a great experience. I learned a lot about what it is like to work full-time at a company (it was my first time working ever), I gained a better understanding of what factors can affect a company and what steps I have to take in the future if I want to be part of Accenture.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The internship was a great opportunity to learn more about Accenture and what tasks it would involve. I can certainly say that a career at the company would be very interesting for me and I am curious to see what other companies have to offer. Nevertheless, I think it can be something where I want to work in the future.

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The company culture is great and full of passion and motivation. It makes you better person and gives you an incentive to become better. Everyone is extremely talented and smart. But this is exactly the culture or environment you want to be. If you talk with employees or play close attention it will more than enough to gain an understanding of the culture.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • 3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • 3/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • This internship is a great opportunity for everyone who wants to learn more not only about Accenture but also about yourself. It is for students who strive to become better and want to educate their selves about what is out there. It is competitive to get in and requires hard work. For anyone who is not willing to do those above mentioned things, the internship is not right for you. If yes, I would give it a shot.
