The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my year on placement, it was a great opportunity for me to identify my strengths and utilize them. I was stretched and challenged throughout, and got the opportunity to work on real impactful projects.
I believe I was very valued by my colleagues, I was viewed as a equal member of my direct team. My ideas and opinions were listened to supported, and championed.
I had a strong support network around me. I had several people both within my direct team and outside that I could turn to if needed.
As always there were busy and less busy periods, but it was always ensured I had enough work to do... I was never given the chance to get bored.
A lot! I was trusted to design and execute many high profile projects.
Skills such as time management, prioritization, and ability to build strong relationships with others is something I will continue to use both back at university and beyond. My time on placement has allowed me to identify my strengths and develop them further, whilst also highlighting my weaknesses and allowing me to combat and improve these.
The Company
Great, fun, upbeat and friendly - I really enjoyed working here.
Very well - the early careers team were great!
Well - we had a two day induction at the beginning of the internship, followed by four core development sessions spread over the year to help 'supercharge' our personal and professional development. We also had the opportunity to get involved in any additional training we deemed necessary,
