The Role
Everyone looks after everyone. It was a very exhausting year but I was very happy to have done it as I feel it will benefit my uni degree
My colleagues looked after me really well
My branch manager did not give me very much guidance but we were not very similar as people so tended to separate ourselves at work which suited us both. If I needed guidance from anyone I would go to my assistant manager and management assistant
It was always very busy but they tell you that upon getting the job. This is definitely not a job for the lazy .My average working week was 60 hours
I knew how to operate every aspect of enterprise upon leaving. I did not like running the day though as I found it too stressful. They will not force you to take on responsibility if you do not want to so when you are ready you can take on more.
I have learn great communication, customer service and confidence skills that will definitely stay with my through uni and after.
The Company
In enterprise you need to take responsibilities for you actions and as long as you do that the atmosphere will be good. It only ever gets bad if you try and deceive someone
Fairly well a few hiccups along the way but nothing to worry about
Area managers are not a fan of spending money on branch dinners etc. The branch manager and assistant manager are more likely to do that. In terms of teaching you knowledge they were very good at investing time to make sure you understood what you were doing.

I study accounting and would like a job that is consistent with what I study. I will come back but only if there was no other job out there for me as a graduate
The Culture
Some nights we would go out for dinner. When you work with each other for 50-60 hours a week you see each other more than your own family. Normally weekends are left for family and friends and not going out with work friends
I lived at home so paid a little rent to my parents and to barely went out as I was very tired from enterprise. You get 2 days off a week so normally one was a catch up on sleep day and the other was time to go out and see friends and socialize
I do not enjoy going out clubbing so not really applicable
There were many opportunities. Volunteering at a garden centre and helping out with gay pride are some of the few
